Vasconcelos Sentimento – Furto

Vasconcelos Sentimento from Rio de Janeiro is a self-taught composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist, his debut album Furto is a mosaic of lo-fi breaks, cosmic ambient jazz and weird, chromatic funk, which wonderfully combines a wide range of seemingly disparate sound elements.

The eccentric Brazilian DIY magician simply follows his ear, he does not eliminate any musical training. The fascination for his compatriot, the enigmatic 70s psych-folk artist Jose Mauro led the young Vasconcelos to Far Out Recordings, where his debut album is now being released.
