Chloe moriondo began work on her new album with open water on her mind. Time off from writing and touring after some challenging personal circumstances gave the critically acclaimed singer-songwriter space to reflect, and she poured all her oceanic energy into oyster, releasing via Public Consumption / Fueled By Ramen. Led by the contemplative single “shoreline” (“a bold and affecting turn” – Consequence) and the delightfully creepy “hate it,” the record was assembled with a close-knit team of cowriters and producers including Jonah Summerfield (Holly Humberstone, Tommy Lefroy), Chloe Kraemer (The Japanese House), AfterHrs, and more.
