Pixies – Surfer Rosa

Early work of the style-forming band available again as vinyl in 2004. Hard and loud, they hit the drums around the ears. Every note not absolutely necessary was deleted from the songs. The Pixies play quite angry and refined, but always stay melodic. Well camouflaged in the noise, hooks suddenly appear out of nowhere. And they bite pretty hard. Hits: "Where Is My Mind", "Gigantic", "Vamos".
